If the controls are not working refresh the page (if it still happens, refresh and try fullscreen mode)!!!

  • My entry for the GMTK Game Jam 2019!
The theme was "Only One", to which I decided to not restrict the player or game, but me! So I gave myself 1 hour to make the game (because I didn't have much time to actually do the game jam).
  • Controls:
  • Press and hold "right" or "d" to move the player right.
Press and hold "left" or "a" to move the player left.

  • Pro tip: Be sure to swing from side to side to get momentum!

To play with the source file, you have to download Löve 0.10.2.

so i tried to play the game in the browser and it seemed the controls did't work, so i downloaded the source to run love on it and spitted out this error:

$ love source.love

a bug? i don't know, but the game won't play.

also great idea! i would love (no pun intended) to play this game!

Oh I should have specify that you need Löve version 0.10.2 not the most new one 11.2 which causes that error.

Movement in this game feels so awesome, love the pixel art too, and how the character angles, wish their was sound effects, that was the only thing that I felt was missing from this game. Overall great, gaining momentum feels soooo gooood.

Thank you so much!

Cool idea for the restriction. I like it! :D

controls don't work after 3 refreshes, but an interesting take on "only one!"

Works in full screen for me (right bottom corner of the game)

Thanks, I don't know why that happens :(

Ah, not your fault.  Bugs happen, especially in an hour! From what I've seen of it it's extremely impressive considering the restraint.

Nice! Reminds me of SkiFree

Thanks! it was part of my inspiration :D
